Flat Lay Snowperson

Flat Lay Foliage Sculptures: I created several foliage sculptures after being inspired by the artist Flora Forger. My goal in creating each thought-provoking sculpture was to grab the audience’s attention of a recognizable design and then have them realize it was actually made of foliage. I then used a new technique I learned called Flat Lay style to photograph each sculpture. I experimented with different backgrounds and lighting sources and overall was pleased with the outcome of the images I created. It was a lot of fun experimenting with making the sculpture and flat lay photography as it allowed me to explore a new art medium and camera technique.
