Up On Top

Looking out from the Seattle Needle is the busy, noisy, hustle and bustle of downtown. On this particular January day, the weather was blustery and cold and you can see a white plume puff from a factory in the distance. Yet from this perspective I felt protected from all the elements, as if in a bird’s nest, “Up On Top” of the city peering down. I also like this angle because it creates a viewpoint that lets the observer a big and sometimes scary or intimidating city from a safe distance. I suppose others might find this outlook to be exactly the opposite if they have a fear of heights. Let me know what you think!
